As proud Capetonians, we are all about living al fresco. We like our views over the Atlantic to be never-ending, our summer afternoons as long as possible and our spirits as high as the clear February skies of the Mother City. So don’t come knocking if the sun is shining, because chances are we’re having sundowners on the lawns.
Better yet, why not join us on Monday 27 February for a special Music on the Lawn concert, featuring Louise Carver and violinist Galina. Live music, delicious Rumbullion pizzas and sundowners – we cannot think of a better way to start the week.
Get there from 17:00, and bring an old blanket to sit on (and won’t mind to leave behind), as Louise will donate all blankets to animal shelters after the concert.
Tickets are R250 per person, and can be bought online via www.louisecarver.com. Space is limited.
